Chaos and Serenity - copyright Julie Patrick Photography The photo which appears throughout my website was given to me by Julie Patrick who I have worked at the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children. For me the photo and its title represents the work we do to make the world safer and healthier for children by not being afraid to take on major social change—like the factors that feed demand for sexual exploitation. “Chaos in Serenity” also represents the Compassion Fatigue part of the work—to help those that battle the trauma find serenity in all the chaos and the strength to keep going.
